Regional bank seeks Mortgage Banking Executive to be responsible for bank-wide oversight of mortgage business line and all initiatives to assure successful service delivery and strategy fulfillment. Responsibilities of the position include deposit and lending services, secondary market sales, new product research and development, customer service and loyalty delivery systems, employee enrichment, education and training, performance management, quarterly cost/benefit analysis of existing products, preparation of detailed reports for committee and board meetings and related regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the bank President & CEO.
Position will be based in Jacksonville, FL

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Apply full knowledge of mortgage banking operations and best practice management techniques to provide for effective and efficient management of the mortgage line within the bank. Maintain knowledge and awareness of current bank deposit, lending, services, operations, marketing and personnel-related policies.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:

Bachelor’s degree in the field of business management, marketing, finance or economics and 15 years progressively responsible bank management experience with specific emphasis in retail mortgage banking, administration and regulatory compliance.

Requires supervisory experience of 10+ years in a similar work situation (preferably multiple branch leadership of 3-6 markets), including demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and organize service delivery, establish goals and objectives while mentoring and developing staff. Effectively coordinate, organize and delegate work duties. Demonstrated skill for distant management of team-mates.

Previous project management experience required.

Requires ability to gather, analyze and prepare sophisticated reports related to productivity, net value added and operational efficiencies.

Demonstrated ability to utilize management and leadership best practices to plan, direct, schedule and review the work performance of assigned employees in a manner conducive to proficient performance and high morale.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Senior management, other departments, outside service-related agencies and vendors.
