The duties of this position include managing a commercial loan portfolio of loans that are to customers from which there is no future business potential. This would include both pass credits and some loans rated criticized, or classified. The portfolio manager would handle all aspects of the relationship including approvals, maintenance and watch reporting. The portfolio manager will also provide underwriting support for new business as the need arises.

The primary responsibility is to give competent, courteous, and efficient customer service to external and internal customers. The Portfolio Manager will perform a variety of duties to include past due monitoring and collection, interaction with the credit department attorneys working on relationships, and would be the customers’ main contact at the bank.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:

Bachelors degree in finance or related field required and 5 to 10 years commercial and real estate lending experience including underwriting and loan settlement; loan workout and collection of commercial and real estate loans is required.

Formal credit training or the equivalent on the job training.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other (need to determine credit analysis systems needed.

Strong interpersonal skill required. Strong presentation skill required.

Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
