Seeking an experienced Controller to manage accounting operations a leading East Bay bank and prepare financial statements with supporting schedules. In support of the CFO's expectations and objectives for the accounting department the Controller will supervise over general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting. The Controller will also provide comparison reports between performance and operating plans and standards, while also recommending and implementing techniques to improve productivity.

Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:

The successful candidate must have the following qualification:

- Banking or Credit Union experience essential.
- Controller in a community bank or credit union in their most recent position.
- Excellent management skills.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with Accounting & Finance management.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Controller in a mid to large sized bank or other financial services organization.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA. MBA a plus.
