Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Coordinates day-to-day activities of branch including deposit growth, compliance, operations and assist in the hiring, training and development of branch personnel.
2. Assesses risk of all financial transactions executed by branch personnel.
3. Directs, coordinates, and monitors activities to implement bank’s policies and procedures.
4. Contacts customers and business, community, and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.
5. May develop and recommend plans for expansion of existing programs and operations.
6. Talks to customers to resolve account problems.
7. Establishes and maintains contact with banking-related industries.
8. Perform all teller and customer service duties such as opening new accounts and teller transactions (see customer service/teller job description).
9. Solicit new and expand existing banking relationships in branch market area.
10. Responsible for the security of the branch to include but not limited to alarms, cash controls including draw limits for tellers.
11. Accountable for complying with Bank policies and procedures designed to meet regulatory and other local requirements.
12. Completes training sessions as assigned.
Qualifications
Leadership: Build and develop branch staff by mentoring and using performance management, coaching staff to exceed their annual performance objectives. Provide ongoing guidance and training to branch personnel. Direct staffing and administrative functions. Consistently re-enforce and model partnership with staff to ensure a positive, productive employee and customer experience.
Relationship Banking: Lead and support the branch in achieving its customer retention and growth goals. Develop existing business client relationships. Build new customer relationships.
Customer Experience: Ensure a consistent, high level of service. Maintain a professional manner to build customer confidence and trust. Take ownership of complex account servicing and error resolution issues. Provide coaching and guidance around complex issues that are escalated. Follow-up with issues and convert servicing situations in sales and referral opportunities. Project a positive image of Profile Bank within the community through active involvement in local organizations.
Operational Excellence: Follow consumer and business banking guidelines for accuracy and proper new account handling. Ensure compliance with operational, security and control policies/procedures, preventing fraud and protecting customer assets. Ensure proper awareness of how the branch is performing against the Bank’s operating and compliance standards.
Employee Engagement: Positively demonstrate leadership and teamwork by proactively assisting other branch colleagues as well as actively participating and contributing during branch team meetings. Coach branch team on quality referral generation. Lead the action planning process to improve employee engagement. Responsible maintaining the Bank’s policies and procedures within the branch.

Education, training, experience:

Professional experience required for this position:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five to six years banking experience.
• Minimum five years of supervisor experience.
• Demonstrated leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to demonstrate and coach exceptional customer service.
• Well organized individual with time management and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of various banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• Required to interact with customers in an open face to face work environment.
Physical Requirements: will include standing for long periods of time, prolonged use of your hands and fingers, light to heavy lifting (5-30 lbs.) and being able to read fine print.
