Team players wanted. We’re seeking an experienced account executive with strong collaborative skills to bridge the gap between our credit union and our Select Employer Groups (SEGs). You’ll be the face of Provident Credit Union, motivating and empowering SEGs as well as our internal regional branches to keep our organization growing strong.

What is an Account Executive?
In a word, a relationship-builder. As a Provident Account Executive, you’ll work with SEGs to expand new business opportunities and increase our presence in the communities we serve. You’ll also be helping our regional branches support their continued membership growth. As a representative of our credit union, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life at a number of community events, and let them know about the many benefits of membership.

Here’s a breakdown of the day-to-day functions:
•Cultivate relationships with sponsors and position Provident as a value-added partner
•Identify potential sponsor groups within specific communities we serve
•Put your people skills to work providing responsive, professional service to sponsor groups and associations, members, vendors and other Provident departments
•Develop and implement marketing plans for assigned SEGs
•Effectively manage your time, travel, recruitment follow-up, and costs
•Coordinate business development efforts with local Branch Managers
•Work with Brand and Regional Managers to support the steady growth of our branches
•Play a key role in researching and developing new products that strengthen our sponsor presence
•Put your best face forward as a Provident representative at a wide variety of sponsor, business and community events
•Keep us in the loop with monthly reports we can actually read
•Assure compliance with all governmental regulatory and Provident policies, rules and regulations related to business development
•Promote CUE financial to our sponsor groups and coordinate events with a CUE representative
•Complete BSA and OFAC policy and procedures on CTR, CIP, CDD, and OFAC verification requirements, as well as reporting suspicious activity

What you’ll bring to the position:
•Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fields, or equivalent experience
•Strong written and oral communication skills — including telephone skills
•Expertise in using PC, Word, Excel, Windows 95 and email
•1 to 3 years sales experience including generating a target list and cold-calling potential clients
•Proven track record of cultivating symbiotic relationships with SEGs
•Excellent mathematical and organizational skills
•Drive to provide exceptional service to everyone you encounter
•One year outside sales and business development experience and the sales record to show for it
•Current driver’s license and transportation/auto insurance
