Job Purpose

This position is responsible for collaborating with all business areas of the Credit Union to develop learning solutions designed to meet business objectives. You will perform needs assessments to determine training goals that support business objectives and address deficits in employee skills and knowledge. You will also develop training materials, administer training programs, evaluate effectiveness of training against program objectives and provide recommendations for improvement.

1.Develop and implement targeted training solutions that support the Credit Union’s business objectives: ?Conduct training needs assessment to determine training objectives, instructional approaches, project scope, and resource requirements
?Design, develop, deliver and maintain training programs for multiple delivery modes including e-learning, instructor-led, and/or blended learning programs
?Establish measurements for training effectiveness, including surveying, tracking, reporting and analyzing training data and participation

2.Administer Learning Management Systems ?Develop e-Learning modules for product knowledge, policies and procedures, staff development, systems and management training
?Review e-Learning modules on recurring basis to ensure accuracy and compliance of training content and materials
?Perform administrative functions of Learning Management System
?Provide reports as requested by management

3.Manage Training Calendar ?Create training program schedules and agendas, announcements, prepare training rooms and maintain tracking reports
?Send monthly notifications to all staff

4.Maintain Department Intranet Page ?Ensure accuracy of Training Department detailed information, such as Mission Statement, Service Quality Standards, team members, contact information, etc.

5.Conduct New Employee Orientation and Training
6.Conduct Product Knowledge Audits
7.Conduct Quality Service Audits
8.Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of Provident Credit Union products, services, operations, policies and procedures
9.Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of department and Credit Union Quality Service Standards
10.Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of Learning Management Systems and training methods
11.Provide exceptional service
12.Promote team participation throughout the organization
13.Recommend methods for effectiveness and efficiency
14.Complete required compliance courses annually
15.Understand and adhere to BSA & OFAC policies and procedures, including reporting suspicious activity
16.Assist in any area as requested by management

1.BA/BS in Education or related field desired
2.A minimum of two years of organizational development or training expertise, preferably within the credit union industry
3.Working knowledge of:
•California Credit Union Law and Rules and Regulations
•NCUA Rules and Regulations
•Department of Financial Institution’s Rules and Regulations
•Provident Credit Union Board Policy
•Credit Union operating systems
•e-Learning solutions and content development tools (e.g. Captivate and Articulate)
•Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
